SBS started its operation from Trident Institution Complex at Kitchlu Nagar Ludhiana in 2004. In the year 2005, SBS shifted to its modern, purpose-build business school campus on Chandigarh Road, Ludhiana. The new campus spread over 6.5 acres combines the best of architecture, aesthetics and functionality.
The campus is designed on a modular frame that will be complete in three Phases. The first phase is fully operational with an administrative block and stair-cased lecture rooms, library and computer facilities and other utilities is fully dedicated to business management education, training, consultancy and research.
Academic Block
The academic block consists of a full basement and two floors lined by open stair case. There are four lecture theatres equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities such as overhead projectors, LCD, and PA system to give a convenient and interactive learning experience to the students
The computer lab will have a dedicated broadband connection with wireless local area network of server, workstations and thin clients. The entire campus such as library and lobby will have wireless hotspots for fast and easy access to internet.
In addition to the lecture halls, there is a large conference room for workshops; syndicate room for case studies and a fully-equipped auditorium with a capacity of more than 200 for seminars and social events.
The library, which is coming up gradually, has several volumes of text books, research publications, periodicals and online reference journals and databases. Cooperation with other Libraries in the region will be made to facilitate cost effective exchange of reference periodicals and books.
Administrative Area
The administrative area consists of a open double hit lobby or atrium, reception, administrative offices, executive conference room, Directors Office and Faculty Room.
Sports and Sportsmanship
SBS is the only Institute with Volley Ball, Basket Ball and Cricket academies, preparing sports loving students for both state and national events.
