SBS has a 100% placement for the three passout batches of the MBA-level programs - PGPM 2005-07, PGPM 2006-08, and PGPM/Dual Degree MBA 2007-10. All batches have also got excellent placements with salaries going up to Rs. 7.00 lakhs. SBS students have been offered jobs from entry level Management Trainees going up to Deputy Manager and Exeutives. The short-term job-oriented diploma/certificate CPM 2005 and CPM 2006 also maintains 100% placement records. Most students of CPM now hold middle management positions in large reputed companies in India and abroad.

Career Guidance Cell (CGC)

SBS has a placement cell that is termed as Career Guidance Cell. Unlike other management institutes, the CGC not only helps in arranging off and on campus interviews and placements but also assists its budding management graduates in investigating their career choices based on their skill set, industry preferences, personal likes/dislikes, etc.

The CGC prepares the students in how to face the interview. Several mock interview sessions are conducted to coach the student on communication techniques, importance of body language, and commonly asked campus interview questions.

SBS organises campus placement and its students are also invited to other campuses where companies come for recruitment. Its students are also invited directly for company interview.

A Multi-Industry Job Fair

‘UMEED’ the mega Job fair, an Annual Event was held in the SBS campus on 22nd February 2011, organized by one of the premier business school institute – Synetic Business School in which 20 companies viz.: IOL chemicals & Pharmaceuticals, Ralson India, Saber Group, HDFC Life Insurance, Meera & Co, Kotak Mahindra, Met Life, Angel Broking, India Bulls, Kudu Knit Process, Dada Motors, Kapsons, Amartex, L&T Finance, Fullerton Securities, LDFO, Yogya Services and Square A seeking placements for various designations were present. More than 500 job seekers from number of colleges and institutes in and around Ludhiana were interviewed and 70 were short listed for final selection. Though Synetic Business School specializes in offering Dual Degree (PGPM +MBA) Programme, like last year a number of companies were invited to recruit graduates in different disciplines such as BBA, B.Com, B.Tech, BCA. In addition, a large number of candidates were short listed for various posts such as HR Manager, Marketing Executives, Finance executives, etc. Dr. M A Zahir, Chairman of the institute informed that for the said Job Fair 15 colleges and institute were contacted and individual messages and phone calls and emails were made to a number of job seeking candidates abreasting them about availability of various jobs.

SBS TOPS THE PLACEMENTS Synetic Business School (SBS), the B- School with a difference, Chandigarh Road Ludhiana witnessed a flurry of placement activities during the last month. The placement drive started on a positive note with Abhishek Industries Ltd offering a job to Mr. Vinod Verma a Dual degree student of SBS at a handsome package of Rs.3 Lakhs P.A. followed by the placement of students in the companies namely L & T finance Holdings, Gokul Synthetics, India Mart, Kandhari Beverages Pvt Ltd, Saber Group ,PSB Logistics Pvt Ltd, Transmarinus, Hb Tv Entertainment offering a job of Rs.2.4 Lakhs to Rs.1.2 p.a. to the students of Dual Degree (MBA+PGPM) a uniquely designed management programmes being offered only by SBS in Ludhiana. The students of SBS Appeared in the interviews in the leading companies like, Neva Group, Shingora Textiles, Centex, Kapsons, Dada Motors, Seven Oceans, Sea Airways Schenkark.
