G6PD deficiency detection, Hb-F estimation, plasma and urine haemoglobin estimation, Hb-S sickling and solubility tests, osmotic red cell fragility test, cytochemical staining (PAS, SBB, MPO, LAP, Perl's reaction), platelet function tests — whole blood clot retraction, prothrombin consumption index, platelet adhesion/aggregation and PF3 availability
