Unit 1: Haemoglobin and coagulation testing
Measurement of methaemoglobin, carboxyhaemoglobin and sulphahaemoglobin levels; platelet count by phase-contrast microscopy; PT, PTI, INR and APTT determination; laboratory preparation of brain thromboplastin, cephalin, thrombin, M/40 CaCl2 and kaolin solution
