Subject Overview

The Advance Degree Project is the culminating industry-sponsored capstone of the B.Sc Textile Design program — each student undertakes a diploma project with a sponsoring industry partner, comprising 3 full collections (woven, printed, embroidered, knitted, or surface development for home furnishing or apparel). Each collection is developed from concept to production and finishing under joint industrial and faculty mentorship, then documented and exhibited at the program's annual exhibition, 'Suvayan'. This is a 6-credit core practical paper — the largest single credit-weighted paper in the program.
