Subject Overview

This CAD paper introduces the Printing Studio Suite in NedGraphics — industry-standard software for converting artwork into production-ready textile design files. Students learn Colour Reduction and Repeat Pro to convert images into usable textile designs, and Design and Repeat Pro to create manufacturing-ready digital files with accurate repeats using engraving tools. This is a 3-credit core practical paper, assessed on classroom assignments, tool proficiency and documentation.
