Entrepreneurship Development

Program:BBA
Semester:Semester 4
Credits:6 Credits
Units:4 Units

Subject Overview

Entrepreneurship Development is about turning business ideas into ventures — the theory, the ecosystem, and the financing that makes it possible in India. You'll cover the definitions and theories of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial traits and the barriers new entrepreneurs face, then move into creativity and business planning, MSME classification and government support, and India's entrepreneurship development programs and industrial estates. The final unit covers financing options from bridge capital and SIDBI schemes to venture capital and angel investors. This is a 6-credit General Elective paper across 4 units, useful whether a student plans to start a business or work inside one.
