A theme board shows images, textures, trims and swatches that capture the mood. Sources: nature, architecture, art, culture, travel, street style and history.
The 60-30-10 rule keeps a palette balanced: one dominant colour, one supporting colour and one accent
Topic 2
Initial concepts
Prepare 6–10 thumbnail sketches, vary silhouette, print and trim, and select 2–3 for development using criteria: fit with the theme, feasibility, cost and customer appeal.
